An Indian Yogi Named Sadhguru Drops Wisdom Bombs

An Indian Yogi Named Sadhguru Drops Wisdom Bombs

Whatcha Reading?

Are you in the habit of consuming the writings of the world’s most awake and aware humans? If not, consider the value of an old-fashioned reading-and-study habit, where, for the modest price of a simple book, you can walk away with a lifetime of wisdom. Moreover, for about the same amount of time it takes to watch an episode of [fill in the blank] on Netflix, you could do a quick dive into the writings of Sadhguru, for example, a yogi renowned in his native India for his teachings about the power of going inward for the Answers.

Check out this gem, for instance, from his book, Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide To Joy. He says, “The dimension of the mind that modern societies have completely ignored at their own peril is awareness, or chitta. This is intelligence that is completely unsullied by memory. This is the deepest dimension of the mind and one that connects you with that which is the very basis of creation. When you are in touch with this dimension, you are in a state of heightened awareness, which allows you to be fully conscious and intoxicated at the same time—and with no external stimulus whatsoever! When you learn to access chitta, being blissful is entirely natural.”

Wait. You? Blissful??

When is the last time you might have described yourself as “blissful”? Anybody?

If it’s been a while, then consider taking a pause and giving your mind-body a chance to rest and awaken.

We suggest a journeying practice. Body goes still. Mind goes on a journey. One beta listener described the experience as something akin to watching a game playthrough . . . except that during a Lotimus mind journey, he actually was the avatar.

If you’ve ever been curious about the art of sitting but questioned whether you really could be still, then it’s time to take the next step. Mind journeying is effortless and playful, allowing you to touch into a dimension of your own being which normally is eclipsed by the noise and chaos of quote-unquote real life. Our listeners report reaching states of deep restfulness and ease of being.

Bliss Is Easy!

So: pop your earbuds in, press ‘Play,’ and go inward, where bliss is not only possible but, as Sadhguru affirms, “entirely natural.”

Are you ready to journey?
